Fossil Plants, near Granby, CO
9/4/2006

The age of this new fossil plant site hasn't been determined but it is believed to be Paleocene.  Detailed site information is not included on these pages.  The site is on National Forest Service land.

Steve Wagner, a member of the Western Interior Paleontological Society (WIPS), discovered the site.  All fossils collected were donated to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS) for a new collection on 9/14/06see link below.
