On Field Trip
#2 (8/17/2002), we drove from Denver to the I-70 road cut, then on to
Vail Pass, Redcliff, Wolcott, State Bridge, McCoy and Dotsero . This
was a LONG 347 mile trip but it provided a wonderful geological history
of Colorado. I did not have time to develop a "digital" field book
for this trip. However, you will find 74 digital pictures with captions
at the IMAGE link below. There are some great rock and fossil
specimens at the bottom of the Images page.
